Services

MUSIC 4 INDIAN WEDDING provides service to make your Wedding unforgettable and unique. Before the Wedding we will meet with the bride and groom to fully understand their specific requirements for the big day.

We will share our expertise and guide the bride and groom to choose appropriate songs and instrumental music for the Wedding.

Setting the scene:

Our service starts from playing of soothing Shloks – the invocation of Lord Ganesh into the Wedding hall whilst the bride’s family are busy with final preparations before the arrival of the groom and guests. This music immediately creates a most calming atmosphere and sets the scene for the exciting day ahead.

We then commence with the start of the ceremonial proceedings:

  • Welcoming of the Groom (pokhnu):
During the Pokhnu ceremony we will play traditional Lagna Geet along with suitable music for the Baraati (Jaan) to dance.
  • Groom’s Grand Entrance:
If a Dhol player is not being used - we will play a suitable pre-selected song for the groom’s grand entrance as he walks down the aisle towards the Mandap.
  • Var Pooja:
Once under the sanctity of the holy Mandap, the groom is representative of Lord Vishnu and is treated with the utmost respect. During the Priest’s recital of mantras to conduct the Var Pooja ceremony, We will play soft traditional instrumental music in the background.  This will enhance the setting and create the right atmosphere.
  • Kanya Aagaman (Bride’s Grand Entrance):
The bride’s entry is an important feature for the Wedding for on this day she is representation of Goddess Laxmi. The groom, family members and guests wait in anticipation to welcome the bride.
We will play the agreed special song / instrumental music at the precise time to create a beautiful and memorable entry.
  • Jai Mala (Exchange of Garlands):
The bride and groom will exchange floral garlands signifying their acceptance of each other in the presence of family and friends.  We will play the pre-selected song / instrumental piece to enhance this beautiful moment.
  • KanyadaanKanyadaan (giving away of the Daughter) & Hasta Melap (joining of Bride & Groom’s hands in Marriage):
During the auspicious Kanyadaan and Hasta Melap ceremonies we will play suitable background instrumental music together with traditional songs which make both ceremonies more meaningful.
  • Mangal Fera (Circling the Sacred Fire):
The couple will circle the sacred fire four times keeping in mind the four aspirations of life; Dharma, Artha, Karma and Moksha. During each Fera we will play traditional Fera songs in co-ordination with the Priest’s timings.
  • Kansar (Feeding of Sweets) and Saptapadi (Taking the Seven Vows):
During Kansar and Saptapadi we play the appropriate traditional song and instrumental music to make this ceremony more enjoyable.
  • Sindoor (applying red Vermillion to the Bride’s hair parting) & Mangal Sutra (placing the sacred necklace around the Bride’s neck):
This is a very important and truly personal ceremony for the bride and groom. During this ceremony we will play some romantic and meaningful song / music piece to commemorate the moment.
  • Vidai (Bride’s departure to join her new family):
The most emotional part of the Wedding ceremony.
Whether it is a traditional ‘sad’ Vidai OR ‘happy’ Vidai – we will play the appropriate selection of songs to give the bride a respectful send-off.

There are endless styles and eras of Music to select. MUSIC 4 INDIAN WEDDING are happy to accommodate the bride and groom’s preferred choice to create a beautiful and special setting for their big day.

All our Wedding songs / instrumental music are pre-recorded.
